What is CrossFit?
CrossFit forges a broad, general and inclusive fitness. CrossFit includes workouts that vary from day to day, combining functional movements performed at high intensity. CrossFit helps each person learn more and more about how to move more safely and effectively, pursue fitness, and improve nutrition. All of these things require responsibility, common sense, and dedication. CrossFit is a community of fitness.
What is a typical class like?
Our experienced trainers lead each one-hour class. Each class includes a warm-up, time to practice skills, and the workout of the day. The workouts vary in duration. Some workouts are very short (just a couple of minutes) and others are very long (like 40 or 50 minutes), but most workouts are 10 to 20 minutes long. Most classes have more than one workout.
How often should I take a CrossFit class?
We design our CrossFit workouts so that you can take a class everyday. However, we do recommend periods of rest and recovery during the week. That being said, we recommend taking at least three classes each week.
