Welcome to CrossFit Glen Burnie’s Youth CrossFit Programs!
CrossFit Glen Burnie has a philosophy when it comes to fitness. There are no shortcuts on the road to success (or fitness in this case) and we believe in teaching people the importance of longevity. This philosophy carries into our youth program – where a focus on fundamentals ensures that our youth are developing correct movement patterns that will benefit them in life and in sport.
Our youth program develop body awareness, strength, and speed through a combination of basic body-weight movements, weightlifting, and conditioning workouts.
The Kids program is designed for children ages 5 to 8 years old and emphasizes body-weight movements in a fun environment. The Pre-Teens and Teens program is designed for children ages 9 to 18 years old.

Experienced Trainers that Care
Our standards for coaching are the highest around. This carries into our youth program, where our youth coaches hold an additional CrossFit Kids certificate and complete an annual background investigation. Our coaches care – and that makes for a great workout experience for all.
Your Child’s Success is Our Goal
While CrossFit challenges the world’s fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program. The needs of Olympic athletes and our kids and teens differ by degree, not kind.
All of our youth memberships run month-to-month and require *no* long-term commitment.

CFGB Teen Athlete – Brody
Brody and his family participated in our 28-Day Nutritional Challenge. Brody is also one of our CrossFit Pre-Teen Athletes!
During the 4-week challenge, Brody lost 7.5″ and 1% of Body Fat. He made it on the Honor Roll at school, improved his self-confidence, no longer uses his inhaler, and set a 30# personal record on his deadlift.
Brody and his family now weight and measure their food, eat much less processed foods, have cut out added sugar, and eat a fair share of veggies!
