CrossFit Glen Burnie has a philosophy when it comes to fitness. There are no shortcuts on the road to success (or fitness in this case) and we believe in teaching people the importance of longevity – improving fitness on a slow trajectory towards a distant horizon.

CrossFit is constantly-varied (never boring!) functional movements (fun!) performed at high intensity. All of our workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life.

Over the years, we have built an AMAZING community of individuals and coaches – working together to be the best versions of ourselves, living long, happy, and humble lives.

Our standards for coaching are the highest around and each class consists of a coach-led warm-up, a thorough demonstration of the workout movements, and plenty of coaching for everyone. Our coaches care – and that makes for a great workout experience for all.

While CrossFit challenges the world’s fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.


Get started with your personalized “On Ramp” course.   For anyone new to CrossFit or who hasn’t done CrossFit in 6+ months.   Meet One-on-One sessions with your CFGB Coach for (4) one-hour personalized training sessions.  Learn the terminology and movements that you will use in your CrossFit classes.  Get comfortable with barbell movements by practicing with a PVC and lighter weights, first.  Start each session with a nutrition component – learn basic nutrition Tips & Tricks.

The “On Ramp” course is designed to teach you the correct technique of the CrossFit movements and ease you into the intensity of the workouts. Each class begins with a warm-up with a coach, and then the coaches teach you proper technique for the movements that you will be doing in the workout that day, everyone then does the workout together, and then there will be a short nutrition talk at the end of each class.  Each session ends with a 7-15 minute workout where you will apply what you’ve learned.

The “Wellness On Ramp (CrossFit + Nutrition)” course is great for anyone with a weight loss or wellness goal.  In addition to working with your CFGB Coach, you will also work with your CFGB Nutrition Coach.  You will also receive an Initial Nutrition Consultation & Health Assessment, and a 4-week Meal Plans (with Grocery Lists) customized just for you and your goals.

Ginger graduated from our On Ramp Program in January – nominated as “Class President” by her peers.

Ginger lost 9.2# and 3% of Body Fat. She Gained 1# of muscle. She says that she feels AMAZING!

Ginger has been meal prepping and carefully selecting foods that will fuel her body while also helping her to move towards her goals! She has registered in the 2018 CrossFit Games Open.

This is going to be an amazing year!
